First NTU exam

First NTU exams

Had 3 core
Had 3 electives

Electives all SU-ed
Feeling good about them
1 paper was damn tough
1 was easy, got some regrets about SU-ing
But that was Econs, and the JC kids have all the advantages in the world
And yup, definitely would be killed by the bell curve
Because the JC kids would score well and I would probably be average
And yes, the grades wouldnt be too good
The last was kinda wasteful
We scored A- for the report
And did well for the presentation
Paper was easy, confirm can score A that kinda paper
But aiya once again, who knows?

Core papers were definite goners
Physical chemistry was a killer
4 questions
1st question people started pressing the calculator at 5 mins
I only started using the calculator at 20 mins
Forgot to calculate the entropy for 2 parts
Even though I know how to do them
Every one came out saying they did not know how to do and stuff
But actually I thought it was still ok
If no mistakes and all, should be can score well
I hope this module can at least get A-

Maths A was a killer
Didnt know how to did some simple question
Those out-of-the-blue-quiz-never-test-and-tutorial-only-1x-small-bit-part
Never finished all the questions
Lots of recycled questions from past year paper
And guess what? I didnt know how to do them
Called and asked for help and all also dont know how to do
Guess what again?
After exams they said they tried and was able to do it
Yup, sucks
Guess what? Luckily I went to memorise the answers and steps
Prevent such a situation from happening
And guess what again?
I didnt manage to memorise everything
Was feeling rather sick for the paper
Neck was stiff and body was kinda weak
Got this 6th sense I wouldnt do well
Kinda too nervous and all
And yup, it really turned out bad

Last paper was Bio
Out of 25 MCQs
I only know how to do 5
And those are recycled questions from past year
So I memorise and got them right
The rest of the 20.......was free gift
Even the open-ended was way easier
And still, it looks like a bad paper

I never expect the exams to be quite absurd
Testing on stuff that wasnt taught in the exams
Is that how the bell-curve work?
Screw everyone up and see how you go?
And is it relevant education?
With half-fcuked lecturers not doing their best
Still earning what taxpayers pay to fund their own children education
Only to see lecturers reading off slides
Not imparting knowledge to the students
And expecting us to do up past year papers to score?
It's sad definitely
How the education system is going
I have said umpteen times before
I wished I have stopped studying
Because this education system is wrong
I enjoy my uni life really
But this is the sucky part hur

Lots more to say
So much more....
