The holiday meet-up for dim sum
Was deciding between Mongkok, Red Star or Yum Cha
Then suddenly it became 黑社会 @ Vivocity
I didnt know they had dim sum there
Thought it was very expensive stuff only
Heard the duck was awesome before this though
There is a daily promotion of 30% of all dim sum items
from 230pm - 530pm (except on Sundays)
And this 30% is actually a lot
There was a compulsory item before you could order anything
It was a dried skin thingy
Very crispy and actually damn addictive
Dip into the chilli is killer!
There was free flow tea
(upon ordering a specific pot of tea first)
The signature dim sum was the lava bun aka custard bun
Totally jizz out from the bun itself
(didnt believe it from the online reviews before that
.......stained my chopsticks after that)
It tasted like salted eggs, like the ones opposite Buangkok MRT
Salted crab egg or crab balls or prawn balls or something
That one is also out-of-this-world kinda tasty!
The siew mai was 3 for $6
Meaning one was for $2
Crazy?
Yup!
But I think kinda justify the price tag
2 prawns - one within and one on top of it
Damn!
The har gor was alright to me?
Nothing special
The XLB were the best I have tasted so far in my life
The soup is really really really really good!
And if you tear open the skin before picking it up
GG and good luck to you because all the soup would have flowed away!
One of the best dishes was the mango salad fried prawn rolls
It's so crazily good that we ordered it twice!
The CSB was ok
Kinda special as it had the burnt bottom
Signature as what I know from online reviews
Overall I think it's a very good place to be
Especially with a group of 4-6 ppl
2 is fine btw
Cosy and all
Very classy decorations inside
Service was......satisfying
I'm not that kinda picky
1 hour is great inside
The seats are damn comfy and all
The lighting was adequate
Overall I give it 4.5 out of 5
The price is a bit steep without the 30% discount
These are the 2 persons I hang out with
Almost every holiday or what we would always hang out
Becoming kind of a routine or culture already
And they say this is the photo which their skin looked flawless

Boooo!
Had this bad feeling that the show wasnt good
Obviously because I'm not into this kind of show
But holy shit, it turned out good!
Robert Downey Jr is a very talented actor
But I cant snap my image of him in Iron Man
And yes, he still has this witty talkative skill
The movie was surprising
Thus the adage that "no expectations may be better than having high hopes"
still hold true to a certain extent eh?
Went to the Broadwalk after that
Damn!
It is soooooooooooo pretty at night
With the Xmas decorations and all
Seriously

The low prices just dont put others off
The bright Xmas decors are very.......nice
I mean
Totally no feeling for this year Xmas
And yes, this was the first time this year I went to see the lights for Xmas
So yeah, kinda relieved and happy that Sentosa didnt disappoint

Actually browsing through the chocolate and candy place was very soothing
Just brings out a person happiness
Like not rushing for time
Taking time out to see individual items

Laughing at pricey small items
Seeing things that you actually wanted to buy but didnt

And the cranes broke down
WTF?
That was the only blemish in the whole day
Going to sleep without putting an alarm for the next day was the best medicine
Recharged and ready to go!
