Bangkok Detox Trip Day 1

So here we go
Me, Adrian and Edmund
The first time taking AirAsia
Abandoning JetStar in my entire life of travelling by budget
Going to my self-deemed last South East Asia destination
The " Land of Thousand Smiles "
Bangkok!

Did I mention we met a super pretty Thai-Chinese girl on board?!
Her name was Arporn
Her English was Aussie-accented
She was.......28?
Was educated in Aussie but now work in SG advert line
(accordingly to our conversation)
Asked her about how's it going and stuff in Singapore
Basically got info on where she worked in SG and what
are the nice local places to hang out in Bangkok
Plus the shopping, clubbing and eating details too
Damn helpful!

(A cool 2 hours flight later we arrived in Bangkok!)
Slept and hypnotized myself to sleep
Seasoned travelling to SEA countries
Dont play cards anymore
Just bring a book to read
Plug in mp3 and a short 15mins later will knock out

Nope
No taxi for us
Go down to the ground
The super convenient train system

40 baht coin

Late night
Not much people
Train carriage is damn clean
Looks polished even

With some research and our Army background
We split up our jobs and bestowed our own ranks
All Senior Officers going for the "Some Can Some Cannot"
Officer Promotion Course
I was CO
Adrian was Logistics Officer
Edmund was Transport Officer
Hahaha!
I'm CO because I'm the most hum-ji kia while travelling
I always take care of the so called "emergency" situations
such as being robbed or gathering people at designated meeting points and times

We decided to topo ourself from Ratchaprarop station
(Btw we stayed at Pratunum area)

Graffiti
LOL!
Talk about artsy-fartsy trains uh?
;)

The immediate traffic conditon
Look past the on-ground situation
This photo is actually quite nice to me!

The railway just beside the Airport Rail

So we checked in to Baiyoke after a fast 10mins walk
Travel light and walk fast
We went out for a late dinner

And after a quick 1 hour of YouTube lesson on speaking Thai
"Learn Thai with Mod" before flying off
I managed to sneak like 7 phrases into my HP
So putting my "fluent" Thai into practice
We decided to buy Pad Thai

Ok Pad Thai has price tag =/

This crazy bulls' testicles thingy doesnt have any prices
So I just use my Thai to converse with him
Managed to ask him to get us one
And managed to get the price
Guess what?
Smarty pants me didnt know how to say "1,2,3,4" in Thai
Watched "Hello Strangers" the night before
So only know the 1,2,3 before taking a photo
And yes, the money wasn't in ones digits
They were in tens digits
So I only caught the first number
And it was damn epic because it was supposed to be 35 baht
And I paid 30 baht based on my Thai understanding

Hohohohoho!
He ask for 5 more Baht
LOLOL!

The BBQ is awesome max!
And it's like 2 bucks for 4 sticks?
Plus the chicken fillet
#Holymamashitittastedsogood
And the Pad Thai
Woots!

The fried rice was ok ok only
The slight drizzle was not so good
Dampen our spirits

Mobile bar (which we realised afterwards)
was set up every night

The suggestion by Edmund
Famed Local Thai Whisky - "Sang Som"
(OMG my wrinkled hands........!!!!)

Drink drank but not drunk on the 1st night already
(did I mentioned it was only $11 SGD?!)
And we throw in 3 cans of Chang Beer
Each one only $1.50 SGD?
Damn sinful!
Luckily got it before midnight

" Picture-of-the-day! "

Guess which one is it?
Damn we loved the channel
I mean I loved the Thai channels
Seriously?!
Maxim TV?!
With alcohol?!

Nononono
The alcohol bottle shot is really nice
Tha'ts my favourite shot really!
In colours and B&W

Moving on to Day 2 of this BKK Trip
Chatuchak Weekend Market the next day!

P.S. All photos have been touched up in this whole BKK trip
Looks a lot better after the touch up
