He beat the red light

He was hanging out with his mistress at 4am in the morning

 He hit a cab

(which in turn hit a poor biker who was minding his own business)

Killed the cab passenger

Caused the cabby to die

And the poor cabby's family only depended on him to take home the dough

The kids are taking their O's and A's this year

The daughter is gonna suspend her further studies

Oh well

The dead man was a "role model"?

 The 3 kids all have maids at home

Their parents give them allowance

The girl went through SMU

The boy upsize his meals and ask for money outright

The other girl got a maid to go clean her hall (in NUS)

And she doesnt know how to cook

Ok just to correct a point

Girls who cant cook ARE okay

Seriously they are!!!

But at least they should attempt

And not be afraid of the kitchen

And they get burnt and then they learn their lessons and buy again

While forgetting that our parents are getting old

Go for grad trips while asking for money outright

Then posting on Facebook

Wear nice office-wear and land a good intern job

You tell others you made it

If you are like those people whom the newspaper do run reports on

Those with illnesses

Broken family background

Humble beginnings

Those that you tend to nonchalantly flip through

You prove that you can work your way up

Nonono you dont say I'm well-off

You dont tell me you know my 14 years-old tau huay story

But who are you to judge when you dont know?

I'm quite sure I can be the one friend who damn well

put 100% effort into whatever shit I do

In terms of life

If you tell me you know someone who works that hard

Introduce me to him/her

I wanna know all about them
