Long outdated post on welcoming 2013

Is this overdue or what?

Here I am

Sitting in front of the computer

Right before the start of recess week 2013

Going into the 3rd year of my studies in NTU soon after this sem

And I'm gonna write about the last day of.........2012?

Way way way overdue

31st Dec 2012

 Some of us decided to meet up

Not at any crowded places for countdown or something

But then.......we didnt manage to get some fancy house to stay over at

So we just walked around in town

Do the usual stuff

Grab dinner and chit chat

 

New restaurant at the extended PS area

Free flow appetizer

The potatoes are good stuff

And it's not really pricey too

Popped over to Switch at around 10pm

Guess what?

There was a long queue

But thanks to Yvonne

(who somehow has this NTUC card which gives us priority queue)

We managed to get in by 1030 like that

While waiting..........

Took crazy photos together!

Someday I should just ordered one and eat it by myself

HAHAHAHA!

The Switch Jam Band 

(and the other band that performed before the new year)

were really fantastic!

I always liked the atmosphere at Switch

The healthy mix of English and Chinese songs

The ups and lows of high 歌 and 抒情歌

And the audience interaction

Even though they originate from Timbre

Switch somehow gives me a better experience

And many better memories as compared to Timbre

 

The party items given out to all the customers

People went wild spraying foam on each other

Beer was spilled

Food was thrown

People and bodies were flying about

Ok no. Maybe not really

But oh well

You get the idea dont you?

A good night with these bunch of people
