1st ever polo game

 

 

These bunch of guys

We wake up to swim at 7am every day

Well some of us did

The committed ones

I put up my hand

I got less than 50% attendance

But

I'm really thankful I got play in my 1st ever waterpolo game

And it was freaking tiring

The steep learning curve

Plus the fact that I cant swim fast

My strokes are wrong

I cant see without my googles

(And I'm adjusting to that seriously)

Yet

I got a chance to play

Albeit its only 4 mins or slightly more

The opponent burnt me with his strokes

He scored

I made a mistake

But I managed to really get involved

And I saw how our team play developed

It was really THE adrenaline rush that made me stay afloat

To top it off with the victoy

With this bunch of guys

Yes

Its worth it!
