For 2012
I decided to be a good guy
And thus organised this Xmas party for Omaha at my place
After much huffing and puffing and whatever persuasion that needs to be done
I have finally gathered like 3 batches of us together
So proud of myself for this feat!

We had potluck dinner
Overkill curry and bee hoon
I ate them for 3 days
That's like 6 meals altogether
The same stuff
Tsk tsk
I'm still getting to grips with how to ask how much
each person should bring for potluck parties
But the spread was good
There were egg and mayo sandwiches

After dinner
It suddenly become like CNY

But yeah, if it's not awkward, it's not memorable

Finally got to hook up my laptop to the TV via HDMI
Damn it took me a gazillion tries to get it right
I had to google in front of the TV and see if my cable and connections
were correct or what not
I cant believe that its not so easy as connecting the HDMI and that's it
Screening this in front of everyone is the best thing that can happen
When you plant the seed of doubt
That everyone should say the truth
And be as bitchy as possible
Some of the things said are really hilarious
And just epic funny
Of course there's those which are really personal and hurting
But oh well, its all in the name of fun!
After that
It's the " Pass the parcel " game
It's like musical chair
And when the music stops, you just have to tear off a layer
There will be various punishments and forfeits to be carried out
1st victim: Yvonne
Awkward moment #1
Saying " I Love You " most sincerely to a person of the opposite gender
Shark and Yvonne make a damn funny couple
Awkward moment to the very max!
2nd victim: Jiaqing
3rd victim: Zi Yang
Both of them have to shake off post-it from their body parts
And the head-banging plus booty shaking are freaking hilarious
4th victim: Chia Haw
5th victim: Zhi Kun
Plus 6th victim
3 of them have to finish slices of lemon
And lots of leftover bread

Damn lucky I didnt get it
6th victim: Zong Yi
Punishment is getting hit on the forehead by wooden chopsticks
It's a painful 3x

Omaha really has a lot of people who cant drink
Those who can drink are......my batch people!

Overall I would conclude that its a great success
Albeit that the end was not that awesome
We were just basically talking much rubbish
I think it's mainly due to the fact that no one is drinking enough
Or everybody is not drinking enough
Thus, we were not high and what not
But some nice HTHT here and there wasnt too shabby
It's good enough
The crowd was big
But it was still cosy
My objective was achieved
Everybody got to know each other better
Everybody ate a lot
Everybody drank a lot too
And just basically, we got closer as a whole I guess?
Those awkward moments help
I truly feel that way
